RAKBANK, Winners of the 2006 Service Quality Awards
RAKBANK is taking center stage again, and this time it’s not a new product launch, this time it is to receive an award from Ethos Consultancy for being the leading service quality bank across all banks in the UAE.
Ethos consultancy is the region’s leading provider for benchmarking, mystery shopping, customer satisfaction surveys and brand audits.
“ For the second year in a row; we at Ethos have been conducting retail banking benchmarking. The UAE has possibly one of the most competitive banking industries in the region. The large numbers of retail banks that exist within the country makes their future depend highly on their ability to capture market share and with the vast increase in the UAE’s population and demand for banking services; service quality is probably going to be a crucial key differentiator.” Said Robert Keay, Managing Director, Ethos Consultancy.
The study included 29 banks and the benchmarking process involved branch visits, website contact and call center calls.
“During the study, we visited 870 branches, made 870 calls to bank call centers and visited bank websites 870 times. Overall there were 86 questions asked, and 2610 surveys conducted, therefore a grand total of 224,460 responses were gathered and analysed.” Added Robert Keay, Managing Director, Ethos Consultancy. In this thorough benchmarking service quality survey, RAKBANK excelled to be the UAE’s leading bank in service quality across all banks in the UAE.

RAKBANK was also ranked as the best-performing bank in branch visits; call center calls, ATM machine, branch standards and teller categories.
