ISO 27001
RAKBANK has been awarded the ISO27001 certification by the British Standards Institute (BSI). This certification is RAKBANK’s final step in the process of full implementation of audited controls over the security of its information.“We are delighted to award RAKBANK the ISO27001 certification. RAKBANK wanted to establish an information security management system based on internationally accepted benchmarks in preparation for the launch of their Internet services. Over the past year they have worked extremely hard towards this goal. BSI will support RAKBANK in maintaining these standards through a regular review of compliance of policies and procedures against working practices. I would also like to stress that RAKBANK is one of the very few leading financial institutions to seek and receive such certification in the UAE.” Said Mr. Narayanan Sethu, Middle East Country Manager, BSI.
The ISO27001 certification mainly aims at providing reassurance to customers, employees, trading partners, and stakeholders of RAKBANK in the knowledge that management information and systems are secure.
