Purchase Protection
Your RAKBANK Prepaid Card insures you against damage or theft of purchases made by use of the Card. In the event of a covered purchase being stolen or damaged within 30 days of the date of purchase, the Insurance Provider shall, pay the amount of the covered purchase indicated hereunder; or the actual cost to repair or replace the covered purchase with an item of like kind and quality as per the Terms and Conditions. Limits Covered:
Your RAKBANK Prepaid Card insures you against damage or theft of purchases made by use of the Card. Travel Accident Insurance
You are also provided a host of travel related insurance covers should you purchase your travel tickets using your Prepaid Card. Your Card offers you the following insurance benefits:
Travel Delay and Abandonment: Your Prepaid Card insures you for a reimbursement of expenses upon delay exceeding 6 hours of a booked trip subject to the Terms & Conditions of the policy. In case you elect to cancel the trip, then you will be eligible for reimbursement of any irrecoverable cancellation charges imposed by the provider of transport or accommodation, subject to an excess of 6 hours.
Amount Covered: USD 25 per hour in excess of 6 hours subject to a maximum of USD 250 per Cardholder per Incident.
Delayed Baggage: The Prepaid Card provides reimbursement of necessary replacement purchases upon temporary delay of checked-in baggage for a period of more than 6 hours from the time of arrival at the destination due to delay or misdirection in delivery by the carrier, subject to Terms & Conditions of the Policy.
Amount Covered: USD 50 per hour in excess of 6 hours subject to a maximum of USD 600 per Cardholder per Incident.
Personal Accident Cover: The Prepaid Card brings you a comprehensive Personal Accident Cover in the unfortunate event of death or dismemberment or permanent total disablement when you are traveling, subject to the Terms & Conditions of the Policy.
Amount Covered: USD 150,000 for adults and USD 5,000 for children.
Personal Liability Cover: Your RAKBANK Prepaid Card insurance indemnifies you against all sums which you would become legally liable to pay damages or costs in respect of accidental death or Bodily Injury and/or accidental loss or damage to material property belonging to any third party, due to an incident during the covered trip.
You are also provided a host of travel related insurance covers should you purchase your travel tickets using your Prepaid Card. Your Card offers you the following insurance benefits:

Terms and Conditions
- Customers who get a RAKBANK Prepaid Card each month during the Promotion Period, on first load of their Card will be entitled to one chance in the Monthly Draw to be conducted in the succeeding month.
- Draw will be conducted on the 7th of April, May and June 2011 and 50 winners will be picked out each month.
- Each prize will consist of a total of AED 500 which will be credited to the winning Cardholder's RAKBANK Loaded or Bling Prepaid Card.
- The winners will be intimated through sms sent to their registered mobile numbers held by RAKBANK. After completion of the necessary formalities the prize money of AED 500 will be loaded on their RAKBANK Prepaid Card.
- RAKBANK's decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained into.
- By participating in this program, all Cardholders consent to the granting of his/her name in press releases and other media, in respect of winning any prize.
