Anyone claiming to be from RAKislamic / RAKBANK and asking for this information is a fraudster. Please do not provide or share these details via email / SMS or calls.
What You Need to Do to Prevent Fraud
Other than refraining from sharing sensitive information with people claiming to be from RAKislamic / RAKBANK, you need to know how to spot a genuine RAKBANK website. Here are the steps to follow:
- Click the padlock in your browser window.
- Click the ‘View certificates’ link to view the original certificate information
- Verify that the SSL certificate issued to RAKBANK is a valid certificate by making sure it has an expiry date and is issued by Certificate Authority – Symantec.
